After graduation, it can be a challenging task to secure a job as the Australian market is very competitive especially in the Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) field. That’s where ACS PYIT comes in. The Professional Year in Information Technology is governed by The Australian Computer Society (ACS) which is an association for information and communications technology experts with members all around Australia. The ACS PYIT is designed in a way to make the graduate’s job-ready by ensuring they understand the Australian workplace cultures as well as by enhancing their skills and expertise through industry-relevant internships.
Requirements
● Must have completed at least 2 years of tertiary education related to the ICT field in Australia
● Hold a valid VISA that ensures full working and studying rights (More priority is given to those who have a 485 temporary graduate visa or Bridging Visa to the Graduate Visa)
● Must meet the minimum English Language Test Scores For example Overall a minimum score of 6.0 and each band 6 in all (Speaking, Reading, Listening & Writing)
The Accounting Professional Year Program (Accounting PYP) is a course developed by CPA Australia (Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and the Institute of Public Accountants) and is delivered by the registered providers that have been approved by the three professional accounting bodies.

Professional Year (PY)
Are you a recent graduate from an Australian University? Professional Year gives an opportunity to enhance and refine the skills required for practical job skills across Australia. Professional Year ensures the graduates are job-ready after the completion of their 1-year course paving the pathway from university to employment. After the completion of this program, graduates can claim 5 points under the skills occupation through skill assessment as specified by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). Professional Year consists of:
A minimum of 44 weeks of training that includes 32 weeks of classroom study and 12 weeks of internship placement in a related field of study from the approved providers.
